Central Government employees ke liye Leave Travel Concession (LTC) ka naya Block Year 2026–2029 shuru ho chuka hai.

LTC eligible employees ke liye ye apni family ke saath India ke different destinations explore karne aur applicable government LTC benefits ka use karne ka ek achha opportunity hai.

Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) ke official LTC FAQs ke according, regular LTC block 4 calendar years ka hota hai. Previous block 2022–2025 tha aur next block 2026–2029 hai.

WHAT IS LTC BLOCK YEAR 2026–2029?

HOME TOWN LTC & ANYWHERE IN INDIA LTC

Government employees jinka Headquarters/Place of Posting aur Home Town different hai, unke regular four-year LTC block ko generally two sub-blocks mein divide kiya jata hai.

Accordingly, 2026–2029 block ko broadly is tarah understand kiya ja sakta hai:

 First Sub-Block: 2026–2027
 Second Sub-Block: 2028–2029

Applicable rules ke according employee Home Town LTC aur Anywhere in India LTC entitlement use kar sakta hai.

Employees jinka Headquarters/Place of Posting aur declared Home Town same hai, unke liye entitlement structure different ho sakta hai. DoPT FAQ specifically such employees ke liye four-year block mein Anywhere in India LTC entitlement explain karta hai.

LTC CARRY FORWARD / GRACE YEAR

LTC ka ek important provision carry forward ka hai.

CCS (LTC) Rules ke Rule 10 ke according, agar Government servant kisi particular two-year/four-year block mein entitled LTC avail nahi kar pata, to applicable LTC ko next block ke first year mein avail karne ka provision hai. DoPT ne isi Rule 10 ko explain karte hue previous block ke extension context mein bhi confirm kiya hai.

 Important: Carry-forward entitlement individual circumstances aur applicable departmental rules par depend karta hai. Employees ko booking se pehle apne department/DDO/administrative section se eligibility verify kar leni chahiye.

FAMILY TRAVEL UNDER LTC

LTC ka benefit eligible Government employee ke saath applicable definition ke under qualifying family members ke liye bhi available ho sakta hai.

Family eligibility, dependency conditions aur other requirements CCS (LTC) Rules and applicable departmental instructions ke according determine hote hain.
